I’m sure football players, basketball players, baseball players and about any other type of a “player” has someone in mind they look up to as they struggle to do their best. Even preachers have probably modeled their style after some other preacher they observed. Probably even politicians strive to be like some previous statesman they admired.
As a speaker and humorist, I have my “hero” – a speaker I look up to, admire and would like to achieve some small part of their success. My speaker hero is Jeanne Robertson. Jeanne is a former Miss North Carolina and has been entertaining audiences all across the USA for over 40 years. One of her “claims to fame” is that she is tall – 6’ 2”!
Jeanne is hilarious! Her humor is real and a lot of it is at the expense of her husband, whom she calls “Left Brain!” I’m sure “Left Brain” is okay with this and along with Jeanne, laughs all of the way to the bank.
Take a few minutes and watch this hilarious video of why “you never send a man to the grocery store!” It is Jeanne Robertson at her best!

“Left Brain” is pretty mild compaired to the way some women refer to their husbands. Since I’m left handed, mind calls me “right brain”. And I know you believe that.
Jim Bob, Thanks for your nice comments about Jeanne. She is pretty amazing
