Have you hugged your dog today?

First off, Mr. Attitude Man wanted me to apologize for there not being a blog post for nearly two weeks. He said, “Miss Lillie, do you think you could explain what happened?” Well, DUH! I assured him I’m quite capable.

Mr. Attitude Man and Ms. Techno Lady were with my brother, Cade, and his wife, Megan, who had a baby. Waylon Cade Solsbery made his debut on December 7th weighing 8 pounds and 7 ounces – now that’s a pretty good size “puppy!”

That meant that Bats (Mr. Attitude Man) and Janny (Ms. Techno Lady) had to help corral those pesky twins, Kenzie and Maddie. Now you talk about a hand full – and a hand full of my hair, my ears and my tail is normally what they have when I’m around.

But I’m growing to like the little stinkers, mainly because they play ball with me. They can’t throw the ball very far but that’s okay. With my eyesight, I can’t see very far so it’s a “win – win” situation.

Moving on…Mr. Attitude Man talks about gratitude being part of The Humor Attitude. I have a lot to be grateful for – a good home with good people who love me. That’s important to dogs. In the following video, I have asked my good friends, Ginger and Bailey, to help me spread the word about adopting a homeless puppy this Christmas. And a puppy just might be the perfect gift for the right person on your list.

Don’t listen to Mr. Attitude Man when he rants about there is no such thing as a “free” puppy. We’re worth every penny and will repay you with unconditional love.

Hope you enjoy the video…and Merry Christmas to all of you and your wonderful dogs!

Miss Lillie,

Count me IN! Who could resist such potential home and heart-warmers?

Cheers and best,
